Deidre & Bob began their musical venture with a mission in mind. The focus was to bring a new and different product onto the music scene. Taking measures to have a refreshingly unique songlist was of great importance, as was having a truly diverse selection of music to please all ages of listeners. We strive to offer a well-rehearsed professional product unlike anything else around. Hard work has helped us gain the respect of many musicians and we have gathered great references along the way. After almost 4 years, we have amassed over 1600 hours of stage experience together.
Since the age of 3, Deidre’s natural talent for singing was recognized. By age 15, she was singing at special occasions such as weddings and school functions. In 1999, Deidre helped form a band called “Rhythm and Voices”, entertaining at local events. Since that time, she has gained momentum, winning the BPCC Idol Contest, and joined Windstorm, the premier R&B band. Along with Windstorm, Deidre has performed for the Mayor’s Inauguration, opened for the Dazz Band, Maze and the Isley Brothers.
Bob has been a working musician for 40 years. Having played every kind of venue from solo to 12-piece bands, Bob has played from California to Florida and from New Orleans and the Gulf Coast to the Great Lakes. Two years of electronics training and several years of Pro Audio sales experience in Houston, New Orleans, and Corpus Christi added to the practical knowledge required to properly operate very complex sound systems . Along the way, Bob was a Casino Sound Tech for almost 5 years, mixing over 2400 shows, over 1000 of which were national acts.
"Deidre may very well be the best vocalist in this area these days," says musician and promoter Bruce Flett. "She can sing anything from Patsy Cline to Joni Mitchell to Diana Ross to Anita Baker. "Bob Ingram is musical director, guitarist, keyboardist, and programs the drums. The sound he gets is big and totally pro. He was Production Manager at a Casino in Mississippi and has been a professional musician all over the country."
